Senior Extra-Curricular

Clubs are booked via SOCS at the start of a new term.

There is something for everyone to participate in, either at lunch-time or after school.  From Debate Club to various subject-led clubs, to language clubs, drop-in Maths clinics and fitness sessions, girls can choose from a wide variety of co-curricular activity.  Art Club runs after school in addition to various revision clinics and sports practices.  Girls can attend ‘come and play’ sports sessions, athletics or triathlon clubs, swim squad, golf, tennis academy,  or one of the many orchestral, vocal or wind ensemble meetings.

At Manor House School, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. While academic excellence remains at the heart of what we do, it is the breadth and quality of our co‑curricular programme that truly sets us apart from other senior schools in Surrey. We recognise that young people thrive when they are encouraged to explore their interests, discover new passions, and develop confidence through meaningful experiences. Our extensive clubs and activities offering reflects this commitment.

As one of the leading Independent Senior Schools in Surrey, we provide an exceptional range of opportunities designed to enrich every student’s school journey. Whether a child is drawn to creative arts, competitive sport, STEM innovation, outdoor pursuits, our programme ensures that every individual finds something that inspires them. This holistic approach is a defining feature of many Senior Schools, but our depth of choice and specialist-led sessions make our provision particularly distinctive.

Pupils at our Senior School in Surrey can choose from a diverse selection of clubs, including performing arts ensembles, coding and robotics workshops, debating societies, language clubs, environmental action groups, and a wide variety of sports teams. Many of these activities are led by expert coaches, visiting practitioners, or highly experienced staff, giving pupils access to professional-level guidance within the nurturing environment of one of the most respected private senior schools in Surrey.

Beyond skill development, our extra‑curricular programme plays a vital role in building character. Pupils learn teamwork, leadership, resilience, and independence — qualities that prepare them for life beyond school and help them flourish as confident, well‑rounded young adults. Participation also strengthens friendships and fosters a strong sense of belonging within our School community.

By offering such a rich and varied programme, our Surrey Senior School in Surrey ensures that every pupil has the chance to shine, explore their potential, and create lasting memories that shape their future.
