Admissions

Dear Parent or Guardian

A very warm welcome to the School admissions section of our website. Thank you for your interest in our wonderful Independent School in Bookham. If you are enquiring about a Nursery, Prep School or Senior School place for mid-year entry, in the future, or at the start of the academic year, you are in the right place.

Please click here to read our review on the Good Schools Guide.

Open Mornings and Experience Days

We hold three School Open Mornings every year which also accommodate the Nursery or Pre-School as well as the Prep and Senior Schools; in the Autumn term in October, in the Spring term in March and in the Summer term in May or June.

You can sign up to any of these events on our Visit Us page or you can choose to visit us virtually from the comfort of your own home by accessing our Virtual Open Day– many families choose to do both.  The Virtual Open Day features a 360 degree interactive Virtual Tour which you can browse by yourself. There is also an interactive site map, photo gallery and welcome messages from our Headteacher, staff and pupils.

We also host a Reception and Year 3 Experience Day in November (for entry the following September). This is free to attend. Please register via the Visit Us page.

Following your initial visit, we ask you to progress your application in accordance with our admissions process.

Pre-School applications follow a different process to the Prep and Senior Schools and please contact our admissions team directly for a Pre-School enquiry.

Prep School and Senior School Admissions

For admissions to the Prep School and Senior School, this involves access to your child’s latest school report, a meeting with our Headteacher or Head of Key Stage (optional for Year 7 applications), an age-appropriate online digital assessment and a confidential reference from your child’s current school.  This process may vary in that we offer Experience Days for Year 3 and Year 7 entry, and Discovery Afternoons for Reception Class. For applications for Year 3, Year 7 and Year 9 entry, we may also conduct interviews.  You can find out more about our admissions process for the Prep School here  and the Senior School here.

Jane Baynes and our Admissions team are your disposal to talk you through the process for your year group and point of entry, on 01372 457077 or via email: admissions@manorhouseschool.org

If you already know that Manor House School is the right school for your child, please find our application/registration form here.

Please refer to our Admissions Policy here.

We look forward to welcoming you to visit our Independent School in Bookham soon.
