Preparatory and senior girls are being encouraged to enter the National Young Writers' Awards 2018, judged by David Walliams.
Preparatory girls and some Senior pupils attended a special assembly this week to launch a writing competition, the National Young Writers' Awards 2018.
The National Young Writers’ Awards are encouraging children, aged 4-14, across the UK to unleash their imaginations and create some utterly brilliant, bonkers and captivating short stories.
This year’s theme is ‘Heroes’ and children are invited to write a story about a hero in under 500 words. There are some amazing prizes to be won. Girls could be whisked off to Disneyland Paris with their family whilst their school could receive £500 worth of books. These are not just any books, but £500 of books presented to the school by this year’s judge - David Walliams!
Please keep a look out for your daughter bringing home more information about this exciting competition and encourage her to enter. #Academic Excellence #ALoveofLearning
