We are delighted that competition entries by senior Art Scholars, Alicia and Isabelle, to Surrey Wildlife Trust's 'Wild Surrey' Art and Photography Exhibition, have been selected to go through to the next stage. The works are to be exhibited in Guildford House Gallery from 25 May to 16 June and will form part of an exhibition focusing on inspiring wildlife, adaptation to the urban environment and wildlife under threat. Entry is free.

Manor House School operates a scholarship programme for girls that show a promising level of flair, skill and enthusiasm for art and have the ability to produce work of a mature standard, especially in relation to their age group. Successful applicants are encouraged to enter competitions, create special displays and attend gallery days whenever possible. Additionally girls attend Art Club and meet with the Head of Art to review sketchbooks and discuss progress and personal goals on a regular basis. Applications are due in for September 2020 awards by 15 November 2019.
