Year 4 Residential to Hooke Court

In the spring Term, Year 4 morphed into Tudors with Mrs Darlington and Mrs Turner.

They enjoyed a three day immersive historical experience to bring the period to life. They changed into their Tudor costumes on arrival in Dorset and lived as Tudor characters for the duration of their stay.

The girls had a go at cooking Tudor recipes. They made candles too and tried their hand at weaving. Writing with a quill and ink was tricky with everyone agreeing that they’d rather be growing up now than in the Tudor era.

A highlight for all was the Tudor banquet one evening!
