New School Uniform
We are very excited to be introducing a new school uniform with effect from September 2017. There will be a roll in period of one year for the new uniform in order to minimise the financial impact on families and it will be completely phased in by September 2018. To view images of the new uniform, please scroll down to the gallery further down this page.
The uniform is supplied by Schoolblazer, and the Manor House ordering website managed by Schoolblazer, will go live on the 23rd June.
Schoolblazer are offering a Free P&P delivery period between 3rd- 17th July 2017 to encourage parents to shop early. This year they are also once again offering our ‘Growth Guarantee’ – this means for all orders placed from June until the end of July, Schoolblazer are extending their returns period so that if your child has a growth spurt over the summer, you can return any item for exchange up until the end of September.
The colour green has been retained within the new uniform in memory of Elizabeth Green, our founder and the original yellow/gold features as the new blazer lining. ‘Victory’ blue has been incorporated into the finished look to ensure that each House is featured. The school crest is part of the blazer for every girl and across all of the PE kit. The PE kit is the same throughout the school to reduce costs over time and Year 6 may purchase the senior blazer and skirt in order to avoid further expenditure as girls move into the senior school or grow out of the pinafore.
We will be setting up a donation facility and offering our old uniform to a school in Africa. With the help of some volunteer parents, further details will be available soon. If you are interested in getting involved in this project, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the meantime, the existing/old style uniform can be purchased from the Uniform Shop which is run independently from Manor House School and is located in The Lodge (the building next to the school exit). It stocks new and good quality second hand uniform. Payment is by cash or cheque only and The Lodge is open every Thursday during term-time at 3.30-5.00pm. Please email email@example.com to request an appointment. The uniform shop also offers a labelling service. Charges are applicable.
