What will I see during an Open Day at Manor House School?
During an Open Day, you will have the chance to tour our facilities, from our well-equipped classrooms and science laboratories to our creative arts spaces, sports grounds, and the nurturing Nursery and Kindergarten setting. You will see lessons in progress and witness the enthusiasm and confidence of our girls as they learn, collaborate, and thrive. Our staff will be on hand throughout to answer your questions and share what makes a Manor House School education truly distinctive.
Is Manor House School suitable for my child’s age and stage?
Whether you are considering a place in our Nursery for your youngest child, looking at our Prep School for a strong foundation in the primary years, an Open Day is the ideal starting point. We offer co-education to girls and boys from Nursery to Year 2 as part of the Effingham Schools Trust’s diamond model. As a girls-only school from Year 3, we are proud to offer an environment where every girl is encouraged to find her voice, take the lead, and develop the resilience and self-belief she needs to succeed, both in the classroom and in life.
What to Expect
Our Open Days typically include a welcome address, guided tours led by our pupils, the opportunity to visit subject departments, and a chance to speak with our Head leadership team. You are welcome to bring your child along so they can get a feel for school life and meet some of the pupils who already call Manor House School home.
What if I can’t attend an Open Day?
We understand that scheduled dates don’t always suit every family.
