On Tuesday 12 November, we enjoyed two Prep School Soloist Music Recitals from Years 3 and 4, and Years 5 and 6. Girls performed in Arcot Hall to a delighted audience of parents, peers and instrumental teachers.
Both Recitals began with the Violin Group performing ‘Lonely Lady’ (Butterworth) with girls in Years 3 and 4 performing on the piano, violin and trombone.
In Years 5 and 6, additional instruments included drums, vocals (solo and duet), clarinet, guitar and saxophone. The Prep Orchestra performed the jazz number ‘Scat Cat Swing’ by Sarah Watts.
We would like to thank all our visiting instrumental staff for their hard work and support and all the girls (pictured) that took part in the recitals.
