Long Jump Gold for National Sportshall Champion Team Member

Having competed in several county and regional heats to earn her place at the event, Elanor,  recently took part in the National Sportshall finals in the Manchester Athletics Stadium for the third year in a row

Elanor has been moved up into the under 15 girls team, where it is incredibly competitive to earn a place. Surrey had secured their position at the final and only six  girls were selected from all over the county.

Elanor had an incredible event, winning Gold in the standing long jump and Silver in the 8 lap Paarlauf race, then receiving another Gold medal with her team as they won the overall event, giving them the title of National Sportshall Champions for 2018. Elanor earned the 5th highest individual points scorer out of the final 68 girls competing.
