Holiday Events Alumnae Virtual Tour

Virtual Joiner Pack

Welcome to our New Joiner or Transitioning Pupil Page!

You will be viewing this page for one of two reasons; either you are a new family joining the School or you are already part of the Manor House School community and your child is transitioning into Nursery, Reception, Year 3 or Year 7. We have designed this page to allow you to easily access all the information and forms you need to complete, to start with us.  Also, look out for a letter in the post enclosing a parent car park sticker and your child’s house badge (except Nursery).

In the meantime, there are 3 steps to go through and we kindly ask you to submit your joiner forms by the end of term preceding your start date. So, let’s get started!

1. JOINER HANDBOOK

Please read the Joiner Handbook, as applicable to your child’s entry year, to find out everything you need to know about processes and procedures at our School:

CLASSLIST (Parent Social Network)

We endorse Classlist (the school community social app) for parent communication between parents. You will receive an invite to Classlist during the summer holidays. Please look out for this in your inbox. We prefer Classlist as the official communications channel (over and above other platforms such as WhatsApp) as it is GDPR compliant.

2. COMPLETION OF JOINER FORMS

Please complete all applicable joiner forms for your child’s entry point – compulsory and optional. Click on the form link to submit your answers. You will receive an email confirming successful completion. If you wish to refer to any corresponding School policies, these can be viewed at https://www.manorhouseschool.org/school-life/policies/

B. Optional Forms for Signing Up to Co-Curricular Activities

We offer instrumental lessons in over 20 different musical instruments. We also offer LAMDA tuition (Speech and Drama lessons) whereby pupils take LAMDA examinations each year. 2. LAMDA Tuition (Years 1 to 11) – Stage Stars UK takes all bookings online via https://stagestars.class4kids.co.uk

3. ORDERING YOUR SCHOOL UNIFORM AND PURCHASING ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT

New families should set up a uniform account with Schoolblazer.com which is useful whether you are purchasing new uniform, or buying items from the parent run second-hand uniform facility because it will allow you to access the correct sizing.

If you are looking for second-hand uniform, then please head on over to https://www.manorhouseschool.org/school-life/school-uniform/ where you can find more details on how to purchase this.

That’s it! Any questions, please email admissions@manorhouseschool.org – Otherwise, we look forward to welcoming you into our school community!
