Our Senior Scholarships Programme is open to girls wishing to join our Senior School in Year 7, or pupils transitioning from Year 6 of our Prep School to start in Year 7 in September 2021. We offer Academic Scholarships and Scholarship Awards in Art, Drama, Music and Sport. Girls may apply for one or more Scholarship Awards.
On this page, you will find details of the admissions process and application deadlines in November that you need to be aware of, alongside the Scholarship opportunities available for your daughter in the Senior School. You can also access digital copies of our Senior Scholarships Information Brochure and Senior Scholarships Application Form, also to be found at the bottom of this webpage. The Scholarships Application Form should be completed and a scanned copy sent by email to admissions@manorhouseschool.org by Thursday 19 November 2020 (Art, Drama, Music and Sport Scholarships) or Thursday 30 November 2020 (if applying for an Academic Scholarship ONLY).
There are four academic scholarships offering fee remissions on the basic annual tuition fee:
This year to counter any Covid restrictions, all external (registered) applicants and Manor House applicants who wish to be considered for an Academic Scholarship, will be invited to sit a 90-minute digital test allowing us insight into their reasoning skills and academic potential. The test includes English literacy (English language proficiency), non-verbal reasoning (natural ability to think and work with shapes) and quantitative reasoning (natural ability to think and work with numbers). The assessment is not curriculum specific so has been developed to remove bias from prior teaching and no preparation is necessary.
Manor House Year 6 pupils will need to apply for an academic scholarship and will have the assessments facilitated in school. We will be working with external candidate’s current schools to facilitate the on-line test with them.
If you would like your daughter to apply for the Academic Scholarship (only), please download and complete the Scholarship Application Form and return it to admissions@manorhouseschool.org by Thursday 30 November 2020.
Art, Music, Drama and Sport Scholarships are available offering fee remissions on the basic annual tuition fee.
External applicants may apply remotely and will be invited to participate via a virtual interview or virtual lesson – subject to the scholarship being applied for. See the brochure for full details.
Manor House applications will be managed on-site. Please complete the Scholarship Application Form and send in your application for an Art, Drama, Music or Sport Scholarship to admissions by Thursday 19 November and be prepared to attend an on-site or virtual interview as detailed in the table below.
Please contact admissions@manorhouseschool.org for further details or if you have any queries.
