Extra-Curricular Clubs

Extra-Curricular Clubs and Co-Curricular Opportunities

Every term, we typically run an extensive timetable of extra-curricular activities as part of our curricular enrichment programme at Manor House School.  With over fifty clubs taking place during any one term across the school, there is plenty to choose from; before school, at lunch-time and at the end of the school day. We also offer LAMDA from Year 1 to Year 6 in the Prep School and throughout Senior School and a broad range (over twenty different instruments) of additional music lessons.

Clubs Information Booklet

Our termly Clubs Booklets provide details of the clubs and activities available – there are separate booklets for the Prep School and Senior School and these are issued at the beginning of each term.  We provide booking online* for some clubs. The following activities take priority over clubs at all times; academic learning, sports teams and school productions. Make a note of your prior commitments before making your choice of clubs or activities. Please note there are some clubs which do incur a fee because they are run by outside organisations and in these cases, separate letters are sent home for booking and payment details.

It is important to note that pupils are expected to make a commitment for the whole term. Not arriving for a club affects the whole group. If it is unavoidable, please do let the teacher who is running the activity know about non-attendance, as a register will be taken at all clubs and activities.

Spring & Summer Terms

Prep and Senior Schools

Parents have been emailed separate booklets for the Prep and Senior Schools giving details of the Clubs and Activities for the rest of the academic year. We hope this will enable you to plan ahead, not only for the Spring term but the Summer term also. Please note booking for the Spring term opened on Saturday 12 December at 10am via the following link: https://www.trybooking.co.uk/WOT

Summer term bookings will open at the end of the Spring term.  If you have any queries please contact Mrs McCartney: lmccartney@manorhouseschool.org

As part of the national response to Covid-19, the School site is currently closed to pupils, except those of key worker and vulnerable children. However, we continue to teach and support all our Prep and Senior School pupils via a virtual (on-screen) learning approach, enabling live lessons and engagement across all subjects.

The Admissions Team are working to process all applications as quickly as possible and are available to discuss new applications for September 2021 or 2022. The best way to reach them is by email: admissions@manorhouseschool.org and they will get in contact with you.

If you would like to make an application to the Prep or Senior School for this year or for 2022, then click here to view our Virtual Open Day. You can also register for our Head’s Address and live Q&A on Wednesday 10 February at 9.30-10.30am here.
