The Head Girl at Manor House School, Bookham for 2020-2021 will be Alicia P (pictured right) and our Deputy Head Girl, Amelie B (pictured left). They will be supported by Senior Prefects, Verity A and Alice H.

Ms Tracey Fantham, Headteacher, commented: “I am delighted for these girls and very much look forward to working with them over the coming year.”

Alicia, Head Girl, has been at Manor House School since she was two years old and has represented the school in many sports, captaining the A team in Netball, Hockey, Athletics and Rounders and representing Central Surrey in High Jump. Alicia has taken part in Science, Languages and Public Speaking competitions and more recently been cast as Helen in the Senior School production of ‘Half a Sixpence.’ She is a member of the Supportive Friends Team who are on duty every break time to provide support and to chat to girls of any age.

Amelie, Deputy Head Girl has also been involved in many aspects of school life and has particularly enjoyed working with girls from all year groups during House Arts, held in the Autumn term. Amelie said, “At Manor House, we can be whoever we want. Individuality is embraced and encouraged and that is why Manor House is so special.” She added, “In my thirteen years at Manor House, I have experienced so much happiness, friendship and support.”

Appointments will now be made for a Supporting Prefect Team which includes House Captains, Academic Prefects, Sports Prefects, Subject Prefects, a Lead ‘Supportive Friend’ Prefect and Prep Leader Prefects.

We look forward to seeing them in their new roles in the next academic year.
