A Scholarship is a grant (reduction in fees) awarded by Manor House School to an individual pupil that displays a very high standard in academic ability, Sport or the Creative and Expressive Arts, as well as a positive attitude to developing further.
Senior Scholarships become effective once a pupil starts in Year 7 of the Senior School, but they are applied for, and awarded in the preceding year.
Candidates are assessed in the Spring Term of Year 6, aged 10-11.
Candidates must pass our entry assessments in the Autumn Term in order to be eligible to apply for a Scholarship.
Awards are announced in the final week of January.
Registered external applicants who have applied for a place in Year 7 are automatically entered for an Academic Scholarship by sitting the Entrance Examinations. Internal candidates may apply for an Academic Scholarship and will sit the entry assessments.
We also offer Art, Drama, Music and Sport Scholarships.
