Scholarships at Year 3

Year 3 Scholarships (Prep School)

We reserve the right to amend/alter the application process due to Covid regulations and to ensure the safety of all pupils, staff and visitors.

Our Founder Scholarships honour the memory of Elizabeth Green and Lilian Wheeler, who were two very inspirational and forward thinking women that began Manor House School in 1920.

Our Prep School Scholarships are open to external applicants wishing to join us in Year 3 in September 2021 and to our existing Year 2 pupils (transitioning into Year 3 in September 2021).

This year, we will offer one Academic Scholarship and one Performing Arts Scholarship (Dance, Music or Drama), each offering fee remissions on the basic annual tuition fee.  Girls may apply for one or more awards.

Digital entry tests will take place during week commencing 18-22 January 2021. The academic scholarship will be awarded based on the applicant that achieves the highest mark in the assessments. Girls may apply for a Performing Arts scholarship, but must pass the entry assessment to qualify for a Scholarship award.

Please download the application form below and submit it, along with the supporting evidence by Friday 15 January 2021.  If you have further questions or need more information, please contact

As part of the national response to Covid-19, the School site is currently closed to pupils, except those of key worker and vulnerable children. However, we continue to teach and support all our Prep and Senior School pupils via a virtual (on-screen) learning approach, enabling live lessons and engagement across all subjects.

The Admissions Team are working to process all applications as quickly as possible and are available to discuss new applications for September 2021 or 2022. The best way to reach them is by email: and they will get in contact with you.

If you would like to make an application to the Prep or Senior School for this year or for 2022, then click here to view our Virtual Open Day. You can also register for our Head’s Address and live Q&A on Wednesday 10 February at 9.30-10.30am here.
