Our Preparatory School is made up of our Reception Class and Years 1 to 6. We are a selective school and, in general, we expect applicants to be performing academically at nationally expected levels.
We welcome applications mid-year for all year groups, subject to the availability of places. For Years 4, 5 and 6, you will be asked to visit the School, meet with our Headteacher and then your daughter will be invited to a taster and assessment day. Age-appropriate assessments are undertaken in reading, writing and mathematics by the Head of the Prep School during this day and consideration is given to a girl’s social integration and emotional development. A final offer is then made, subject to the outcome of this day.
