Girls’ School

Manor House School is a selective independent (private) day school for girls aged 4 to 16 years located in Bookham, Surrey with a co-educational Nursery. It includes a Pre-Prep, Junior and Senior School for girls.  (#SurreyGirlsSchool).  We are a member of the GSA (Girls Schools Association) representing heads of many of the top performing day and boarding schools in the UK independent schools sector.

The GSA have an international affiliate membership and are a member of the Independent Schools Council.  The GSA encourages high standards of education, pastoral care and extra-curricular activity for girls and highlight the benefits of being taught in a girls-only environment.

Girls at GSA schools are more likely to study – and perform well in – maths, science, and languages and 94% of pupils in GSA schools go on to higher education. (source: GSA).

  • 70% more likely to take Chemistry A Level.
