Last week Mrs N Roberts launched our new ‘Talented Writers’ Club’ for invited Seniors and it has been very well attended. Girls arrived eagerly to their first session which entailed writing freely without constraint for set amounts of time and this certainly produced some interesting ideas. Last week Mrs Roberts gave them pictures from a book called ‘The Mysteries of Harris Burdick’ as stimulus for some original writing. We will be encouraging our girls to enter Local and National writing competitions – so watch this space!
