On Saturday 11 March, Manor House Bookham took a Junior and Senior team to the annual Rotary Club sponsored Swimarathon.

This is a continuous relay event with the teams trying to complete as many 50m laps as possible in 55 minutes. Both teams put in a powerful performance and raised a considerable amount of money for our chosen charity, Cancer Research.

The Junior team, comprising of Sacha K, Ella S, Courtney G, Fleur P-J, Emma D and Aggie R completed 54 laps which equalled last year’s total.  Well done girls.

The Senior team managed to improve on last year and clocked up a total of 70 laps, so well done to Hollie C, Isabella R, Emily D, Izzy C, Kirsten W and Verity P-J.

We are all very proud of the girls for showing commitment to this event, particularly as it was a very early start for a Saturday morning.
