Author Visit from R K Dikstra

Posted: 20th February 2017

As part of our Book Week and World Book Day celebrations, the author, Richard D Dikstra, will be paying Manor House School, Bookham  a visit on Monday 6 March.

Richard Dikstra’s two books are aimed at the 5 – 11 year age group.  The books ‘Tigeropolis – Beyond the Deep Forest’ and ‘Tigeropolis – The Grand Opening’ uses tigers as the main theme and although they are fiction books the author incorporates factual information about conservation and looking after the environment.  The books are very engaging with character illustrations and humorous text.

Richard Dikstra will give a talk about his writing and the conservation of tigers in the Pre-Prep Hall followed by questions and a book signing at the end.
