Year 10 girls studying GCSE Music enjoyed a night at the opera at the New Victoria Theatre, Woking.  Not many comic operas begin with a coldblooded murder and end with the hero’s consignment to hell but Don Giovanni swings restlessly between comedy and tragedy to startling effect with Mozart’s irresistible music.  A delightful evening for senior girls.
