The award was received at the prestigious Foodservice Cateys ceremony held at Westminster Park Plaza Hotel, London. The ceremony took place in front of 500 attendees from the food industry.

The team was particularly recognised for their local produce sourcing, their commitment to training and their use of innovative menus. Judges included experts from across the food industry and the hospitality industry.

Through the Chef Academy, Apprentice and Graduate Schemes and Advanced Management Programme, the company have invested heavily in their training.

Ronan Harte, Managing Director of Holroyd Howe said:

“It is a real honour to pick up this award. We are very proud of how hard our teams have worked over the course of the last year, and this award is a testament to that.

“As a business, our focus has always been to deliver creative, delicious food that engages and inspires pupils, whilst also safeguarding their health and wellbeing. We are delighted that this award recognises that.”

This was not the only win for Holroyd Howe that week. One of their head chefs, Matt Potts, was awarded the Independent Caterer of the Year Award at the Educating Excellence Awards Dinner.

Commended for their commitment to local sourcing, quality standards and the development of innovative and fresh food menus, we say well done Holroyd Howe!
