On Friday 25th September 2015, we held our annual fundraising breakfast in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The total amount raised this year came to £1392, beating last year’s amount of £1341 despite having a year group absent on a school trip.
Thank you to everyone that came along to our Breakfast, and for the fantastic donations that have been sent in.
Jessica Blake, Surrey Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support says:
“It is our ambition that nobody should face cancer alone. We couldn’t be there for people affected by cancer without the fantastic people who support Macmillan. I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Manor House School for all their hard work and support, and congratulate them all on reaching such an impressive amount from their Big Breakfast.”
Currently, the amount raised across the country for “The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” amounts to over £2 million. We are proud to be part of such a successful fund raising activity for such a worthy cause.
