Our Head of Art and Drama, Teresa Williams, will be running a host of Art Workshops to keep the girls entertained and creatively stimulated during the long summer break. The workshops are open to girls from other schools as well as Manor House.
Each of the workshops will be covering different themes and materials – from Faces and Masks to Butterflies and Beetles. The girls will have the opportunity to use a range of art mediums that they may not have used in their timetabled Art lessons.
These workshops allow the girls to find their artistic talents and can often encourage them to pursue the subject outside of the classroom.
The Mad About Art sessions on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th July, as well as Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th August, will give parents the opportunity to admire the final works created by the students.
These workshops have been historically messy, so it is definitely advised to not wear your finest summer frock! An old shirt or apron should do the trick.
It will be fantastic to see many of you throughout the summer, so make sure to contact Teresa Pratt (01372 386 814) to guarantee a place on one of the workshops for your daughter.
