Art remains a popular GCSE option at Manor House and the girls work with a variety of materials, from paint to clay and pencil to print. This diversity helps the girls to learn transferable skills and stimulate their creativity – which can often be seen in the size and originality of their final year work. Our purpose-built art room is full of natural light and allows the space for the girls to study and express their artistic talents.
We will be hosting a Private View of our GCSE Artwork on Tuesday 23rd June from 16:30 – 19:00, allowing guests the opportunity to see all of the fantastic work produced this year. Many of our girls achieve A*/A at GCSE level. If your daughter is considering Art as a GCSE option, or she has yet to join our Senior department but you would like to see the work that is produced by our girls, please come along.
