Manor House School Hobbledown Trip1Our Reception and Nursery girls had a very enjoyable outing to Hobbledown Farm in Epsom this week. The weather was on their side, giving them the opportunity to start the day with a look at some of the animals, including the more unusual ones they keep at Hobbledown such as meerkats, wallabies and otter cubs…!

Great fun was had making mud faces and placing them on the big oak tree to scare away the Skibblers – the make-believe characters that enjoy causing mischief at the farm!

After a delicious picnic lunch, the girls then had the chance to stroke donkeys, goats and their designated favourite, Larry the lamb. Some considerable time was enjoyed in the soft play area, which, as you can imagine, the girls absolutely loved – giving them just a few moments to look at the rabbits and guinea pigs and then it was time to head back to school.
