We’d like to take this moment to thank all that attended the Manor House School Reunion Lunch on Sunday organised by Victoria Bowman Events and Fritha Vincent. I think it’s safe to say that it was a fantastic event and it was great to see so many of you back again.
Drinks and canapés were enjoyed in the main entrance hall from midday, where we had the opportunity to speak with old friends and teachers.
A beautiful Indian lunch was provided in the Arcot Hall by our Housekeeper, with a backdrop of Manor House archived images on the projection screen. These made for a fantastic talking point during the meal, seeing many familiar faces and how the school has changed over the years.
Later, teas and coffees were enjoyed as we learned more about The Secret Pillow Project. It was delightful to hear about the project in the place where it began 20 years ago.
The afternoon was very leisurely, with the opportunity to walk around the grounds and house to reminisce with old friends. Even though the school has changed over the years, the character and charm has remained the same – bringing back a flood of happy memories for everyone that attended.
We’re looking to keep in closer contact with Manor House School alumni, so it would be great if you could get in touch to be first to know of our future reunions.
