The 7.8 magnitude earthquake that devastated Nepal on Saturday 25th April has left thousands confirmed dead and tens of thousands without a home to go back to.

In true Manor House spirit, our girls took it upon themselves to arrange some fundraising events for the Nepal disaster contribution fund.

We held a non-uniform day and cake sale on Friday last week, in a bid to raise as much as we could and to help spread awareness of this terrible disaster.

A staggering £900.00 was raised, £341.60 of which came from the cake sale alone. This is enough to provide emergency hygiene kits for 107 victims, or blankets for 78 families. The hygiene kits will help victims to prevent the spread of disease through those who have lost everything.

Thank you to all those who contributed.
