Busy Bees Nursery (Age 2-4 years)

Manor House Nursery is committed to providing the best possible start to your daughter’s education. The atmosphere in the nursery is warm, friendly and calm. Girls between the ages of 2 and 4 years discover, absorb, learn and enjoy as they take their first steps from home to a learning environment that is specially prepared for them.  The girls glow with excitement and play and work with enthusiasm. Girls learn to care for others and for their environment and become independent, confident and develop excellent social skills and emerging self discipline.

The developmental progress of each child is charted and recorded through regular evaluations and individual observations in all areas of learning. Staff are trained to build a mutually positive and respectful relationship with each girl. We like the girls to see adults as helpful friends who guide and support their individual needs.

Our lovely building provides a happy, purposeful environment for your daughter. We share a wonderful all-weather, enclosed playground with the Pre-Prep department, which includes sand and water play, climbing frames, lots of bicycles and a train and pirate ship to explore.

Home – School Link
The link between home and nursery is of great importance in these very early years and we encourage good and effective communication between staff and parents/carers at all times. We discuss a child’s progress with parents/carers on a frequent basis, either informally or at one of our regular open evenings.  These are also an opportunity for parents to come along and learn to use the Montessori equipment so you become part of your daughter’s learning.
