Juniors (7-11 years)

The Junior Department anticipates the challenges of Senior education and professional life; the girls in our department grow into involved, active and respectful members of the community who celebrate diversity and view differences as enrichment. 

From the outset, we provide each of our girls with elements necessary for effective learning.  These include well-equipped learning spaces, excellent resources and the on-going support and encouragement of the Junior teaching staff.  We offer a balanced and challenging education.  Everyone here is a learner; we help each other and work together and a strong peer group allows for positive encouragement.

We strongly believe that every child has a unique disposition and we feel that it is important that education contributes to a sense of empathy with others.  It is our aim to identify and develop the positive qualities of each girl and support her in intellectual, social and physical pursuits.
