J6

In J6 the girls study the additional languages of Spanish, German and Latin. English, Science and Mathematics continue to follow the National Curriculum guidelines as well as extended work. In History, Britain since the 1930s and investigating a famous person are our topics and in Geography the girls learn about the world around them, rivers and glaciers.

To culminate their time in the Junior Department, the J6 girls attend a residential trip to France where they get the opportunity to practise their French speaking skills in a local market and see the difference between Manor House and a French primary school. This is a lovely way to end the school year and is always a huge hit with the girls!
