J3

In J3 girls study Drama and French along with the usual curriculum subjects. In Science the girls learn about healthy eating and the importance of looking after their teeth.

We visit Butser Ancient Farm where we look at the way houses were built in the past and the materials used; this links to our topic on materials. The girls also enjoyed an Egyptian workshop which focuses on Egyptian society and teh importance of the River Nile.

During the year the girls learn traditional dances to prepare them for a country dancing festival which takes place in the Summer Term. This is a popular event and well supported by not only the girls but their parents who are encouraged to join in too!
