Inspection Reports

In line with other independent schools, Manor House is regularly inspected by both Ofsted and the Independent School’s Inspectorate (ISI). Both of these bodies check the quality of provision at Manor House and that we adhere to statutory requirements on such issues as child protection and Health & Safety.

Ofsted is responsible for overseeing the Early Year’s Foundation Stage (EYFS), which covers Nursery and Transition. ISI are responsible for overseeing all other year groups. From January 2010 the school will have 5 days notice of a visit by an inspection team and we are therefore in a constant state of readiness. During an inspection, Ofsted and ISI will give parents the opportunity to contribute their views on Manor House and their daughter’s education via a confidential web-based questionnaire. The results of this questionnaire are shared with the school as part of the feedback we get once the inspection is complete.
